36. Building Your Team Without Disappointing Your Clients
It can be extremely tricky to build a team when you are a real estate agent who does business by referral. Client perception and experience is important - you don’t want your clients to feel coldly handed off or disappointed with anyone on your team. AND - your quality of life is important too! Without anyone to back you up in the field or in the office, the 24/7 nature of real estate can be exhausting and eventually lead to burnout.
I am frequently asked how I’ve navigated these challenges and what it boils down to is that I’ve discovered that works best for me is what I call a “micro team”.
