28. My Worst Client Events Ever
A lot of Realtors tell me they're afraid to host a client event because they're afraid no one will come, or it won't be good enough in some way. After hosting over 100 client appreciation parties over the last 20 years, I am here to tell you that I have had many slam dunk events, and also a few that were pretty bad, and I've lived to tell the tale!
The great thing about "failure" is it can be our greatest teacher. Through hosting so many events, and giving myself the chance to experiment and try many different things, I have distilled all of those lessons into duplicatable strategies that have made it possible for me to throw really great events that help me grow my business, retain clients, get referrals, and turn people on the fringe of my sphere into advocates.
