25. Stop Fighting & Start Harnessing Who You Really Are!
One of the biggest wastes of my energy in the past was fighting who I really am. In 2020, I decided to transform myself, my real estate team, and the way I built my businesses so that I could tap into my natural gifts and stop trying to fit myself into a box. And I haven't looked back!
One of the tools that helped me on that path was something called Human Design. Fair warning: human design is a bit woo woo. It's like a cross between a personality profile and astrology. But in my experience, it was eerily spot-on and drove a lot of personal insight that made it possible for me to do some deeper self-work and more easily embrace my gifts and passions to fuel my business pursuits.
In this episode, Laura Malec and I talk through our Human Design profiles and how this tool has helped us to manage our energy, make peace with being the types of gals who constantly reinvent ourselves, move hyper-quickly when we want to and take pauses when we prefer to, and so much more.
This was a fun episode to record, as we were both reflective and revealing about our paths to greater self confidence and self acceptance. In my experience, doing that kind of personal work inevitably makes you a stronger leader and hones your people skills, which is invaluable in the real estate industry.
